Introduction The website serves as the main communication channel for the NWCS community. To keep accurate information about our community members (parents, students, teachers, and staff), it is necessary to have everyone register to the website individually (not per family). The school registration process contains two parts: - Register to the webiste for each student and at least one of the parents.
- Calculate tuition, sign waiver form and mail it with payment check.
Registration Steps - Parent Registration: At least one parent from each family is required to register to this site.
- Click on the "Register" link to the left.
- Fill in all items EXCEPT those marked as "(student)". Put your English name in the first "Name" field. Click "Send Registration" when you are done. A validation e-mail should be in your mailbox in a few minutes. Click on the "log in" link to complete registration.
- Student Registration: Log out if you are logged in. Register to this site for each of your children. This time, fill in all items EXCEPT those marked "(adult)". Students can have the same e-mail address as their parents; this is encouraged in the case of younger students. Make sure to fill in the username of the parent in "Parent username:" - this is how we link students to their parents. E-mail validation is also required. Reminder: this step has to be repeated for each student.
- Calculate Tuition: Open Waiver Form and Tuition Calculator, fill in student names and enrollments, press "Calculate" to determine the total tuition.
- Print Form: Print the form with calculated total tuition.
- Sign and Mail: Sign the waiver form, mail it with your check to the Registrar (Ms. Shiauping Shih, 175 Orchard Ridge Road, Chappaqua, NY 10514, Tel: (914) 238-2395).
- Check Status: After the Registrar processes the application, you will see a field in your profile indicating registration is complete.
VERY IMPORTANTA: - Parents and children are registered as different user. For example, if you have 2 children to register for the school, then you need to register at least 3 users (2 children plus one parent).
- Never fill in both adult and student section for the same user.
