本校今年度的新年晚會及畢業典禮的照片已經發印在CD上。 下兩周我們將在學校餐廳播放這些照片。 有意購買者請屆時訂購。 照片CD每張五元。
The picture album of the 2007 New Year's party and Graduation ceremony is now available in CD format. The CD will be played in the cafeteria for the next two weeks while we take orders for the pictures. The price is $5.00. Don't miss these spectacular photos!

Breakfast Service
自本周六起， 我們又有早餐供應。 感謝早餐會家長們的辛勞， 讓我們又有早餐享用。 由於人力有限， 早餐的內容將大為簡化。
The breakfast service at the cafeteria on Saturday mornings is once again available. Due to the limited resources available, the breakfast selection will not be as elaborate as it used to be. We appreciate the efforts of the parents who provide this wonderful service to our community!
美東中文學校2007年會
ACS Annual Conference
美東中文學校2007年會將于五月二十六日及二十七日在Cherry Hill， New Jersey 舉行。 年會內容包括主題演講， 資優教師獎及學生獎頒發， 分題座談， 演講比賽， 海報競賽， 文化表演晚會等。 所有本校的老師， 同學及家長都歡迎參加。 有興趣者請向校長報名。
The Association of Chinese Schools (ACS) will hold its 34th annual conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey on May 26th and 27th, 2007. The program will include a keynote speaker, teacher and student awards, a panel discussion, a Chinese teaching seminar, student activities, a Jeopardy-style Chinese culture competition, a speech competition, a poster-making competition, and an evening Chinese culture performance. All our families are welcome to attend. Please contact the Principal if interested.
美東中文學校協會款項
ACS Funds
由於本校去年擔任美東中文學校 2007 年會的主辦單位， 我們將獲美東中文學校協會撥款 $7,283。 我們再度向去年大力贊助的家長及教職員表示謝意。
NWCS will soon receive $7,283 from ACS for our hosting the ACS annual conference last year at New Paltz, New York. Once again, we thank those participants and volunteers at the 2006 annual conference.

家長教師座談會將中T月三十一日上午十一時舉行。 請所有家長准時參加。 任何與您的孩子學習有關的問題都可在此與老師溝通。 各班懇親會的地點詳列在下。
Parent-teacher conferences will be held on 03/31/2007. This is an opportunity for you to communicate with the teacher about any concerns, expectations and questions you may have regarding your child. Conferences will begin at 11:00. Please see below for the assigned room for your child's class.

Openings at NWCS
為籌備下學年的開始， 本校目前在尋覓適當的人選來接替校長， 副校長， 祕書， 財務， 董事等多項職位。 北威近四十年的優久歷史完全要歸功於所有熱心的家長們對學校無私的服務及參與。 我們在此呼籲每一位家長挺身參與學校的事務。 如果您有興趣， 或有意推薦人選， 請向校長張振坤聯係。
The school is now seeking candidates for several administrative positions, including Principal, Vice Principal, Secretary, Treasurer, and five board members. NWCS is strictly a volunteer-based operation. Since 1969, NWCS parents have given freely of their time to support the school in its educational mission. We encourage all parents to become involved in school affairs, and to carry our school forward to the next year. If you are interested in a more active role in the school, or know someone who may be interested, please contact the principal, CK Chang.

Snow Make-up Day
由於三月十七日因暴風雪學校停課， 本學期將順延一周， 于六月十六日結業。 原訂三月十七日值日的家長改到六月十六日值日。
This semester will end on 06/16/2007 due to the snow day on 03/17/2007. The on-duty parents for 03/17/2007 have been rescheduled to 06/16/2007.
