學校大樓粉刷
Building Work Notice
學校大樓目前正在進行粉刷工程。任何有黃線圍起來的區域都禁止穿越。請大家繞道 而行。除非遇到緊急疏散情況你才可以穿越黃線。
The Somers School is painting the staircases throughout the school building. Please go around any areas that are marked off by yellow tape. You may pass through these areas only for evacuation purposes, in the case of emergency.

教師進修
Teacher Training
感謝本校一位家長為教師進修基金的捐獻， 今年暑假期間， 本校有六位教師參加中文教學研習會。 每位教師獲得補助三百元。 如果你有意為此項基金或是學校運作捐獻， 請跟校長張振坤聯係。
Thanks to the donation by one of our parents to the teacher training fund, six of our teachers attended the AP Chinese Training course this summer. Each of them was subsidized with $300. If you would like to make donations to this fund or for general purposes, please contact the principal, CK Chang.

兒童唱遊班
Dance and Song Class
兒童唱遊班目前仍在接受報名。 這是特地為低年級的同學開設的班。 如果您有興趣為您的孩子報名， 請到辦公室找註冊組長。
The Dance and Song class, geared toward the younger children, is still open for enrollment. If you are interested in signing your kids up, please come to the office to see the Registrar.
課外輔導
Tutoring Service
您的孩子做功課需要輔導嗎？ 或是您希望有人幫他/她練習中文？ 每週六從十一點到十二點在 229 室有本校的輔導員為同學輔導功課。 這是免費服務。 你可以隨時來接受輔導。 請大家多多利用這項服務。
If your kid(s) need help with their homework or need help in understanding the class material, a tutoring service is available from 11:00-12:00 in Room 229. This service is free of charge and no appointment is necessary. We encourage you to take advantage of this great service!
新任助教
New Teaching Assistant

In addition to Sheng-Shih Liu, the new teaching assistant for Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, we have two more new teaching assistants: Michelle Hsu, for 3B/4B, and Joyce Lu for 1B. Let's express our appreciation to them!
