又是一個新學年的開始，歡迎大家回到北威中文學校！ 2006 秋季班于九月十六日開始上課，一月二十日結束。祝同學們有一個充實的新學年！

It's the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year. Welcome back! The NWCS fall semester 2006 will start this weekend, 9/16/06, and end on 01/20/07. We wish all the students a fulfilling new school year!

首席教師代表

Head Teacher

本學年的首席教師代表是王學勤。此項職位是由全體教師投票選出。黃老師將輔導及協助本校老師，並促進教師與董事會之間的溝通。

The newly-elected head teacher for this school year is H Chin Wang. She will漤rovide assistance and guidance to all teachers and serve as a vital communications channel between teachers and the Board.

加退選課程

Add/Drop Classes

中文學校新學期的加退選今天開始﹐ 需要辦理的家長請到辦公室。

NWCS is now accepting add/drop enrollments for the new semester. If you need to add or drop a class, please come to the office to see the Registrar, Ms Shiauping Shih. Forms for adding or dropping a class may be found on our website at http://www.nynwcs.org/forms/AddDropForm2005.pdf.

Seminar 09/23/06

本校的創辦人， Donald Tang，將于九月二十三日在本校舉辦一場講座，主題是 “The Fun and Intrigue of Chinese”。歡迎大家來參加。

Mr. Donald Tang, the NWCS founder, will present "The Fun and Intrigue of Chinese" to our community. The seminar will be held 9:00-11:00 in Room 301. Everyone is welcome to attend.

家長值日

Parent Duty

家長值日是北威中文學校一個重要的傳統。我們非常需要每一位家長擔當起這份責任。請各位家長預先查看家長值日表，在您當值的那一天准時報到。如果您有時間上的衝突，請提早安排替換人選。細節請看北威網站的家長值日說明（選網站左邊目錄裡的“家長值日表”)。

Parent Duty has been an important tradition at NWCS. Every parent's participation is the key to the success of the school. We ask that you check the Parent Duty roster in advance and fulfill your duty accordingly. If a schedule conflict arises, it is your responsibility to make necessary prior arrangements. For more details, please see the descriptions of on-duty parents' tasks on the NWCS website (click "Parent Duty Roster" in the left-hand navigator). As a reminder, the parents on duty for the weeks of 9/16 and 9/23 are:

NWCS is a non-profit organization. We welcome financial contributions of any amount. Donations to NWCS are tax deductible; a receipt is available upon request.
