本校開放參觀日

NWCS Open House

本校將于六月十日對外開放， 歡迎有興趣的家庭來校參觀。 請大家廣泛告知親朋好友。 在參觀日我們將展示各班學生的作品， 並有餐點招待。 希望大家踴躍參加。

NWCS will host an Open House on 06/10/06. Please invite your friends who might be interested in sending their children to our school. Students' work from each class, including the electives, will be displayed. There will also be a tour of the school. New Year Party video will be shown in the cafeteria. Refreshments provided by parents will be served. All are welcome. An information flyer is available on our site.

期末野餐/體育趣味競賽

Year-End Picnic/Sports Day

本年期末野餐將包括體育趣味競賽， 有賽跑， 接力等項目， 學生將採混合編組。 有興趣幫忙的家長， 請與副校長尚業敏聯絡。

This year we will have Sports Day along with the Year-End picnic. Each grade will be split randomly - not by class - into two teams, red and blue. There will be races, relays, and other fun activities for everyone (adults too!) to participate and enjoy. If you have ideas for an activity or would like to join the Sports Day Committee, please contact Kelly Lin by phone or e-mail at kshang_1999@yahoo.com.

下學年註

2006-2007 Registration

下學年註冊將于六月十日開始。 所有在校生必須於七月十五日前辦理註冊。 七月十五日以後註冊的學生必須加繳 $50 的費用。

Registration is required for all returning students for the new school year. Registration will begin on 6/10/06 and end on 7/15/06. Prior to the end of this school year, you can register at the office. A $50 late fee will be imposed on all registrations received after 7/15/06.

第33屆北東中文學校年會

ACS 33rd Annual Meeting

第33屆北東中文學校年會已於五月二十七及二十八日順利舉行， 並圓滿畢幕。 我們在此向所有與會及大力協助的老師， 學生及義工深表謝意。 本校的舞蹈班在崔文琳老師的帶領下表演扇子舞。 會中， 曾任本校校長及董事的劉龍國先生獲選為中文學校協會董事會主席。 這屆年會計有六百人與會。 許多人遠從麻州， 賓州， 維基尼亞及伊利諾州來參與盛會。 北威身為主辦學校之一， 倍感榮幸。 這次年會， 本校多位師生獲獎。 得獎人名單如下。

The ACS' 33rd Annual Meeting was successfully held at SUNY New Paltz on May 27 and 28. We渇 like to thank all the teachers, students, and volunteers who participated. Our Dance Class, supervised by Mrs. Wen-Lin Murray, performed "Fan Dance" superbly at the Evening Show. At the meeting, Dr. Lurng-Kuo Liu (劉龍國), former Principal and Board Chairman of NWCS and the chairman of this event, was elected as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Association of Chinese Schools. There were 600 people from over 40 Chinese schools attending this meeting. Many came all the way from Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Illinois. We were honored to be one of the host schools for this event. The ACS also presented awards to our teachers and students as below:

  • Teacher Merit Award （優良教師獎）: 陳幼慧 Ms Hui Chin, 王宏瑛 Ms Hung-Yin Wang, 鄭瑾 Ms Jinn Shi
  • Teacher Service Award （資深教師獎）:
    • 5 years of service: 陳幼慧 Ms Hui Chin, 王宏瑛 Ms Hung-Yin Wang,
    • 10 years of service: 范育德 Ms Agnes Lu, 沈慧珠 Ms Hui-Chu Shen, 夏蕙頤 Ms Virginia Shih.
    • 20 years of service: 張曉明 Ms Lucille Liu
  • Hai Hua Scholarship （海華獎學金): Bianca Yuh 孟珊
  • Honor Society of Chinese Students Inductees 　（榮譽學生）: 喻孟珊 Bianca Yuh, 廖靜宜 Joanne Liu, 王嫣菊 Daisy Wang, 佳駿 Andrew Wu
