新年晚會及畢業典禮

New Year's Party and Graduation

新年晚會及畢業典禮將于一月二十一日舉行。地點是在 Somers 高中。晚會節目包括各班學生的表演，晚餐，跳舞，卡拉OK，發紅包及抽獎。新年晚會餐卷將于一月七日起在辦公室發售。大人票一張十二元，兒童 pre-K 以上一張六元。老師及學校職員將獲得一張免費餐卷。晚會中將有精美禮品抽獎活動。頭獎是 iPod nano。抽獎卷一張兩元，十張十元，三十張二十元。

The New Year's Party and graduation ceremony will be held on 1/21/06 (snow day on 1/28/06) at Somers High School. The party will include performances from each class, dinner (buffet style), dancing, carnival, karaoke, and red envelopes for all students. The New Year's Party dinner tickets will be available for purchase at the office starting 1/7/06. The ticket price is $12 for adults and $6 for children pre-K and older. Teachers and staff are entitled to one free ticket. There will also be a raffle at the New Year party for great prizes. The grand prize is an iPod nano! Raffle tickets will be sold for $2 per ticket, $10 for 10, and $20 for 30.

Book Fair

本校將舉辦圖書銷售。銷售內容請看上週發給學生的 "Asia for Kids" 目錄。 Asia for Kids 是一個教育性的機構，旨在促進亞裔文化及語言。它的圖書目錄涵蓋豐富的書籍文物。如果您有興趣頂訂購，請于一月十四日將目錄中的訂購單交給您孩子的老師。本校將透過您的購買受惠。如果您需要圖書目錄，請跟 Rene Yip 聯繫。

NWCS will be conducting a Book Fair Program through the Asia for Kids organization. Asia for Kids is an organization that offers educational products to facilitate learning of Asian language and culture. Please see the catalog from Asia for Kids that came home with your child last week. If you wish to place an order, please fill out the order form with a check payable to NWCS and return to your teacher by January 14th. By making a purchase through Asia for Kids, you will be supporting NWCS. If you need another copy of the catalog, please contact Rene Yip.

Yearbook Preparation

本學年校刊將于五月二十日出刊。請各位老師注意，校刊截稿日期是三月十一日。請將您的材料准備齊全交給本校祕書王雅芬。畢業班家長請注意，如果您有意在校刊上為畢業生留言祝福，請跟校長鄭天人聯係。

The 2005-06 yearbook will be published on 05/20/06. Attention, teachers: please make sure your students are preparing their works for the yearbook. All materials will be collected no later than the second week of the spring semester (3/11/06). If you have any questions, please contact Ms Felicia Wang, the Secretary. Parents of the 12th grade: for a small fee, you can post messages to your child in the yearbook. Please contact Mr. Tien-jen Cheng for details.

Spring Semester Begins March 4

這學期已經接近尾聲。一月十四日是最後一天上課。我們在此感謝所有的老師，家長及職員這學期所做的貢獻。下學期定于三月四日開學。歡迎大家開學時再共聚一堂。

We are coming to the end of the fall semester. This week is the last day of school for this semester. A big thank-you goes to all the teachers, parents and staff who have greatly contributed to the success of the semester. The spring semester will begin 3/4/06. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school!
