下學期開學日

First Day of School, Fall 2005

本周是這學期最後一周, 祝大家有一個快樂的暑假。在此提醒大家下學期開學日是九月十日。別忘了要及早作暑假作業。

This week is the last week of Spring 2005. We wish everyone a wonderful summer. We'd like to remind everybody that the start of the school for Fall 2005 is September 10. Oh - and don't forget to get an early start on your summer break homework! :-)

2005 學年註冊已開始

2005-2006 School Year Registration

本校已開始辦理下學年註冊。 請各位家長下載註冊表或到 216 向註冊主任索取及填寫註冊表。 學費增收案已于兩周前由家長投票通過。 下學年每位學生學費將酌增 30元。

Registration for the 2005-2006 school year has started. Parents, please get your registration form here on the website, or come to the office (Room 216) to get a copy. Two weeks ago we passed the tuition increase proposal; the tuition next year will include an increase of $30 per student.

本周舉辦聚餐和園遊會

Luncheon Party and Carnival

本周學校將在 Somers Middle School 舉辦聚餐和園遊會。 雖然當天 10:00-12:00 是期末考時段， 園遊會將于 11:30 在體育館開始， 以便利提早出場的小朋友。 自助餐式的聚餐則將于 12:30 在餐廳開始。 餐卷于本周開始發售， 十二?以下小孩每人五元，成人和十二?以上小孩每人八元。

This week we will hold a carnival and luncheon party. While the finals are taking place, 10:00-12:00, the carnival will start in the Gym at 11:30 to give the younger students, who normally finish finals earlier, a head start. The buffet-style luncheon will start at 12:30 in the cafeteria. We will continue selling luncheon tickets before the party. Tickets are $5 per person for children 12 and under, $8 per person for adults and children 13 and older.

慈濟慈善組織舉辦夏令營

Tzuchi Summer Camp

慈濟慈善機構將于八月十九日至八月二十一日在 Catskill, NY 舉辦夏令營。 費用是一百四十美金, 報名截至日期是七月十五日, 年齡限制是八?以上。 有興趣的家長請上 http://www.tzuchi-csny.org 以索取報名簡章, 或上 http://www.summitgetaway.com 以參?夏令營資料。

The Tzuchi organization is sponsoring a summer camp in Catskill, NY, from August 19 to August 21, 2005. It is a good opportunity for our students age 8 and up to immerse themselves in a Chinese-speaking environment this summer. Registration is now to July 15, 2005.
