專題講座

Seminar

下週起學校將舉辦一系列有關視窗的中文文字處理講座。 第一堂專題將於十一月六日﹐ 十點在220教室舉行。 題目是「如何微軟視窗中文文字輸入」﹐ 歡迎家長參加並請自備電腦。

We are starting a series of seminars on Writing Chinese in Windows. The first seminar is 11/6/04 at 10:00 in Room 220. The topic is "How to configure Windows XP for Chinese input". Parents are welcome to come, and are encouraged to bring a fully-charged Windows XP laptop.

The first-ever NWCS T-Shirt is available! The design was done by Michelle Wu of the 11th grade. Short-sleeve T-Shirts are $12 and long-sleeve, $16. Various choices of colors and sizes are available. 本週舉行班級照相。 請家長在您的行事曆上作一個標記﹐ 不要忘了班級照相日。

This week, 10/30/04, is Class Picture day. Please mark it down on your calendar!

輔導室

Study Hall

學校正計劃成立輔導室。 於每周六早上十一點至十二點﹐由 8 至 12 年級的學長指導低年級的學弟妹做中文作業。 學校將發于社區服務證書給志願參與的同學。 有興趣的同學請早上到辦公室 (216 教室) 向副校長張振坤報名。

Our school has signed up two excellent high-school students to help middle- and lower-grade students with their homework and class material. We highly recommend that children who need help come to the Study Hall in Room 220 from 11:00 to 12:00 and meet with the tutors. Even if your children are taking elective classes in the 3rd hour, they can still come for just 5-10 minutes to go over their homework with the tutors before going (back) to their classes. Their memory is freshest right after class, and a little reinforcement then will go a long way. Please take full advantage of our Study Hall and reduce your (and your children's) stress later on in the week!
